Dear parishioners of St. Joseph Hill,

On November 20, 2006 we celebrated the 125th anniversary of the dedication of our beautiful church building.  St. Joseph Hill Church is beautiful in a physical sense and in a spiritual sense.  We love the physical environment that surrounds our church, but the inner environment of the Spirit is even more important.

The spiritual environment of our parish community was placed under the patronage of St. Joseph in 1853.  We have both the new and the old here, a thriving Catholic community that cherishes our long Catholic tradition, but which adapts to changing times under the direction of the Holy Spirit and in close unity with Pope Benedict XVI and Archbishop Daniel Buechlein, O.S.B., Archbishop of Indianapolis.

We are a vibrant community of Christian families, growing on tradition.  May we become the men and women that Christ wants us to be.

In St. Joseph,

Fr. John W. Curran, O.F.M. Conv.

Pastor
